YES, you heard that right!   The Problem: In the Philippines, telcos prohibit sending texts with email addresses and website links as part of security measures to block spammers from distributing malicious links. As a result, when you send a text with an email address or website link to a friend or colleague, it may show as "sent," but the recipient won’t be able to receive it. The Solution:  When sending an email address or website link via SMS or text, follow this simple format: For example, instead of writing " name @gmail .com ," insert a space between the dot and "com" so it appears as "name@gmail. com."
