Computer Problems and Solutions

Problem:   • The EXE file opens in Notepad. • The EXE file opens in Notepad. • EXE file opens in some other installed programs. • Windows displays " Open With " dialog box to choose the program. • Windows shows error message, "Windows cannot find .exe file. Make sure you typed the name correctly". Solution: A. Download registrey  script and then run (double click). It'll ask for confirmation, accept it. It should solve the problem.   Download Registry Script B. Problem:   Blue Screen of Death "Hardware Malfunction" Solution :  - Shutdown the computer on the POWER Button,  - Turn off all the power switches or unplug it from the wall and remove the power cord from the computer - After about 5-10 min return all power cord & switch on your pc. note: if the solution above doesn't work, pls see other solutions at  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315223 Cause:    This behavior can occur if a hardware component malfunctions, or if there are damaged or incompatible drivers installed.
